2. Post the URL link of your blog in the General Discussion forum. Your coordinator or lecturer will then monitor your blog, offering feedback where necessary/helpful.
3. Write FOUR (4) (you may write more) blog posts (250-300 words for each post) and upload these to your blog. Posts will be improved if you can illustrate your discussion with a variety of communication media, (eg. written text, images, audio, video etc.)
4. In your posts, either respond to one of the reflection exercises within the weekly lessons on the course website, or respond to some aspect of the weekly lessons, or respond to the textbook readings.
5. In one of the posts include a self-recorded audio element (either downloaded from your phone, a power point with voiceover, a self-recorded YouTube video or similar content).
6. Upload the first post to the blog by week 3 and the other posts throughout the term. All four posts must be uploaded on or before Friday of Week 10. Anything uploaded after that date will not be marked.
7. Include formal academic referencing in all posts.
In week 10 upload a blogpost criteria sheet with your name and blog URL to the Moodle site.

• Give your blog a Title and, if you wish, a sub-title (e.g. ‘Blogging: The Rise of Social Media – Discussions in COMM11003 Term 3, 2014’).
• Have a title for each blog post with the week and topic. There is no specific format for you to follow other than the word minimum. Use whatever media you feel best informs your post (may include images, hyperlinks to other sources; one very brief quotation (30 words or less); diagrams; maps; historical data, etc.
• Use single line spacing in the posts.
