Week 6: knowledge check reflection: contemporary argument exercise

 Description
This Knowledge Check Reflection activity was adapted from assignment on p. 143 of your textbook. Please read the below instructions and produce a brief argument.
You were introduced to (3) different yet equally famous argument styles in chapter 7 of your textbook. From the classic oration from famous Greek and Roman rhetors, the Rogerian and Invitational argument style from psychologist Carl Roger, to the Toulminian Argument structure from British philosopher Stephen Toulmin. For this Knowledge Check you will select a contemporary argument that you care about that often finds itself tangled in controversy. You will utilize (1) of these argument structures and draft a short paragraph stating your argument.
After you draft the mock argument, you need to reflect on the following questions:

Why did you select the argument style you did over the other two?
If you were writing this argument to an audience that was likely to disagree strongly with your position, would you change your argument style? Why or why not?
Briefly compare and contrast the three argument structures presented in chapter 7.
