Natural resources such as land and water provide a wonderful picture of the earth. As I was growing, trees were my friends as I hugged them, trying to climb into them. I would sit on highlands taking beautiful scenery of the lower side of the countryside. I remember how I would swim in rivers and fish in ponds. Growing up in such a beautiful environment in Tennessee, I grew up knowing that nature is a pleasure that needs protection.

This continuous human exploitation of natural resources will lead to even more negative effects on the earth. Increased global warming and reduced rain are some of the current evidence of these activities. It is time I call all humans to love, protect and embrace the beauty of our nature or else we will be swallowed alive by the wrath of nature.
