Construct a media Profile of Domnican Republic and assume the role of an investigative journalist writing a feature article for a public affairs journal. Seek a hook- something newsworthy as the starting point for your article. Examples might include a new media law, new regulatory agency, introduction of a new technology or privatization of media, a media issue of national security, a controversy or conflict involving the media in DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. It is imperative that you locate at least one recurring discussion/concept in the coursework and discuss how it manifests in your investigation of the media profile. Write in a journalistic style.

– Country demographic, political and economic profile. (This should include the numbers and characteristics of the population.)

–Economic structure of the media. Detail the ownership of the country’s media
–Status of media freedom
