CAMPAIGN BRIEF
Develop a behavior change campaign aimed at addressing a current sustainability
issue within the textiles and fashion industry.
In developing the campaign choose one of the following scenarios:
1. You are working for a large textiles/fashion organisation and advocating for
change internally
2. You are working for a large textiles/fashion organisation and advocating for
change externally (e.g. consumers)
3. You are working for an NGO, union or industry association and advocating for
change on a specific issue within the textiles and fashion industry
In developing your campaign, consider the following questions:
• Which organisation or group of organisations do you work for?
• What is the issue the campaign is addressing and why is this issue important
and of relevance to your organisation?
• What are the campaign’s aims?
• Who is your target market?
• What actions will comprise you campaign?
• How are you using theories of change to encourage engagement and buy-in
in the campaign?
• What are the campaign’s measures of success?
Remember – successful behavior change campaigns highlight both the problem
and solution.
Your topic must be approved by your lecturer prior to commencement.
