People often act on how they perceive the surrounding. For example, an individual may decide to take part in an environmental conservation initiative to improve the status of the environment. However, another person may feel that taking part in an endeavor without any payment is a waste of time and would prefer going for a paying job. Intelligent people make correct decisions as compared to average people.
