Owing to a previously conducted self-evaluation activity that happened due in the seminar, I was able to think about how my future as a professional nurse would be like. The realization that today’s choices contribute a lot towards shaping my future as a professional and hence the necessity to keep everything on track and avoid that which would make you drift away from the set goals. The remaining focus becomes a key consideration. The prior preparation for the future should be set and have a strong foundation for helping me achieve the dreams as per the expectations and to avoid a shock in the future. My engagements to the educational choices are kept intact because I have to remain on track to see that everything falls in place, with my employment choices being towards the individual fulfillment and the comfort in fitting in the medical profession as a nurse. I am concerned about my career, and I am looking forward to adopting all the possible requirements to help me reach my goals and comfortably fit in my career as a professional nurse. By maintaining a positive attitude towards my career, I believe that this will serve as a milestone in making this a reality, as with a negative attitude, the possibility of being lured to alternatives is high, and one will end up in regrets as one will not achieve the set goals. Making individual decisions, taking responsibility, and sticking to the plan become important tools in keeping everything under control. I am by far taking control of my care by looking for possible ways to be exposed to experience for my career and looking forward to new opportunities concerning my career of choice. Consequently, looking for possible ways to overcome any obstacles to my career has been an inevitable move in helping me remain focused. All these possible considerations geared towards ensuring that I commit myself to no action whatsoever would lead me out of the way towards my dream career.
Through critical and thorough learning from the seminar, I was able t set strategies for myself in seeing to it that everything falls in as per the expectations. I was able to explore more information about other career opportunities. From this, I was able to do comparative research, from which I found out that my choice of a career equally exposed me to some of the best employment opportunities hence the need for commitments. This exposure opened up the way for me to proudly stand in and claim my career, knowing that indeed I was in for the right thing and the best as far as my future life was concerned.
My curiosity led to more and detailed research in workshops and websites on matters revolving around my career choice. I felt that this would indeed leave me contented and motivate me towards the achievements of goals. Nothing compares to the feeling that indeed you are in the right place as it gives one the strength to press on even when everything seems not cool. The self-drive backed up by the desire to reach the target are salient in seeing to it that one indeed one get to where they really want to find themselves as a part of their plans and in my case fitting in a professional nursing career field which to me would seem more than just a dream come true.
I was able to look at my career as an exceptional career that called for commitments and hard work. Having a big heart to first love yourself and love those you are attending to was a requirement to fit in the nursing profession. I was also able to look at the profession as one that was associated with many ethical considerations that were put in place in ensuring that the flow of work and the relationship between the nurse and the patients were seen to. The need to establish a rapport with all relating parties, the staff, the patients, and all other people of significance in my line of duty was also a lesson learned. By far, this was looked at as being the most important part of the whole project because, in the absence of a good relationship with those you are working with and relating with, it would mean that no connection and the work environment would not be pleasing. The results would be many problems and failures in the workflow process brought about by the lack of cooperation between the involved parties.
From the knowledge obtained from the websites, I have found ideas that would help influence my career of choice. First is by looking forward to being outstanding in presentations on all matters around the work environment. Treating patients, offering other necessary support as expected, and by far improving my services to something worth thumbs up. The need for collaboration and experience sharing with other professionals would ensure that one becomes broad-minded in decision-making and innovative ways of approaching the work situation to keep it at its best at all times. The importance of participating in community-based programs comes in as a learning process for those interested. The reward for this comes later, and one appreciates and learns of the best way to offer the best services to the community to give back to the community. It is also important to mention that the internet provides information on how the adjustments have been made to fit situations. In a time like now, when the covid-19 pandemic has struck the world, the nurses and the other medical personnel are the first inline. The possible ways through which they are working against the disease is an important lesson. It serves to caution one of possible such threats in the future and which by far need to be addressed as such. This provides room for expansion and growth as with the increase in the rate of growth in technology, creative and modernized approaches can be put in place in the future, making everything seems so easy and making the work progress outstanding and efficient.
