You are required to read the following case study and write a report according to the assignment requirements:

You are one of the researchers, who have been approached by the Australian Federal Government to assist in developing a report that will help to determine the extent of economic and social disadvantage in Australia. They also seek to understand how such a disadvantage creates barriers to education, employment, and housing.  The Australian Federal Government explores three areas of disadvantage – poverty, household expenditure, and social exclusion. As statistical analysts, you require to collect, organize, analyse and present data relevant to any one of the three areas. Your analysis would support the Australian Federal Government to make strategic decisions in improving the social welfare policy in Australia.  Your report must contain information that enables answering the following questions:

Task 1: provide a brief description of your report and introduce the area of disadvantage that you explored in your research.

Task2:   Prepare a table using a spreadsheet to show the data for the last decade (2010-2020) in the area of your research. Make sure that the data in each column has been labelled.

Task 3:    Choose a suitable graphical representation to illustrate the presented data in your report. Explain why you made this choice of graphic display.

Task 4:  Use your graph to discuss the trends in the area of disadvantage that you considered during this period of time.

Task 5:  Calculate mean and the standard deviation of the presented data.
